Pauri Garhwal is a district that is the most scenic place in the Garhwal region in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, headquarters is in the town of Pauri. The Nayyar river decides Alaknanda is the major river of the district as well as major tributaries of Alaknanda which is the confluence of eastern and western Nayyar at Satpuli.
