About Panchachuli Trek
Panchachuli trek is filled with enthralling water streams, grassy meadows surrounded by flowers, villages with their rustic charm, a wide range of wildlife, and vibrant flora. Panchachuli is located in the Darma Valley, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. It is a series of five impressive snow-capped cliffs with an altitude of 6,904m. The five peaks are Panchachuli 1at an elevation of 6,355, Panchachuli 2 has the highest elevation at 6,904mts, 3rd at 6,312mts, 4th at 6,334mts and 5th at 6,437mts. Trekking through the path filled with beautiful picturesque, taking in the lifestyle of the locals. There are numerous camping sites during the trek, Panchachuli Base Camp, you can camp whether you want alongside the villages or between the meadows while grazing at night. Panchachuli grow interested among adventurists. The trek starts from the wonderful Dar village and goes through the Data valley, the alpine grassland, wildlife, dense deodar, breathtaking glaciers, and the River Dhauliganga escorting you throughout the trekking. It also holds special importance for spiritual people.

- Summer: Mid-March till mid-June is the best time to trek to Panchachuli Base Camp Trek. The sun warms up the cool region and trekkers find it easy to adjust to the climate.
- Monsoon: During monsoon season, the route gets very slippery and trekkers find it very problematic to make it through the route.
- Spring: During mid-September to late October, the pleasant spring boon trekkers make way to Panchachuli Base Camp Trek.
- Winter: November till late February, the temperature falls relatively low and thus trekkers cannot trek in Panchachuli Base Camp.

Panchachuli By Air
- The closest airport to Dharchula is Pantnagar Airport located at a distance of approximately 335 km or you will get a taxi from the airport to Dharchula.
Panchachuli By Train
- The nearest railway station from Dharchula is Tanakpur Railway Station at a distance of approximately 239 km or Kathgodam at a distance of approximately 270 km. You can easily get buses or taxis from Tanakpur to Dharchula.
Panchachuli By Road
- Can we connect with the major cities of Pithoragarh and the Kumaon region through Dharchula, which is the nearest town? Buses or taxis are easily available for the Pithoragarh district from Delhi and the major cities of Uttarakhand. Pithoragarh is 92 km from Dharachula, you can easily book a taxi or bus to Pithoragarh, Tanakpur, Almora, or other cities in Pithoragarh and then hire a taxi to reach Dharchula. The trek start for Dar which lies approximately 37 km from Dharchula.
