At an elevation of about 2285 m above the sea level, Mukhteshwar is a hamlet nested hidden in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. This lesser known destination is the best place to visit on a weekend. 51 KMs from the city of Nainital, this less popular town is unspoiled and quaint. Mukhteshwar Dham is a 350 yrs old temple whose residing deity is Lord Shiva. This temple is perched on hilltop and offers astounding views of the nearby mountains and valleys. The 180 degree view of Garhwal's Himalayas makes Mukhteshwar a worth visiting place. The overlapping cliffs close to the temple are a very famous point in Mukhteshwar, better known as Chauli ki Jali. This point bestows some enchanting views of the valley in front. The Indian Veterinary Research Institute can also be visited in Mukhteshwar, which was established in 1898, destroyed by fire in 1899 and resurrected in 1901. Nanda Devi Peak, which is the second highest in India is also visible from Mukhteshwar.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing to cancellations@planmypackage.com. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows :
- Booking Amount is Non-Refundable
- From 30 to 44 days prior to arrival: 50 % of the Total Trip Cost
- From 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 75 % of the Total Trip Cost
- From 0 to 14 Days prior to arrival or No Show : 100 % of the Total Trip Cost
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).
In case of any adverse weather, natural calamity, local issues or Government orders, or any unforeseen circumstances happens during the Trip, Our Team would try at their level best to execute services as per itinerary but in case of it not happening, no refund would be processed. If in case, Trip couldn’t be started due to such unavoidable circumstances before starting of it, PlanMyPackage would issue a voucher for 100% of the amount which can be redeemed within 12 months from the voucher issuance date.
