A trip to Kasol is incomplete without strolling beside the Parvati River. You will feel awesome near the gushing river, but before you go beside it, check the water level. The Parvati River is serene but ferocious. 
  • Manikaran 
  • Situated around 4 km from Kasol on the bank of the Parvati river, there is a gurdwara called Manikaran Sahib in the small town of Manikaran. This town is a pilgrimage center for both Hindus and Sikhs. This town is blessed with hot water springs and you will see many hot water pools to comfort the tourist. Also, enjoy the langar in the gurdwara which is prepared not by using any fuel but only this hot water spring, amazing isn't it?. In the market, you will find small cloth pouches with uncooked rice which get cooked. The epicenter of Kasol and Barshaini, Manikaran is a must-visit place.

  • Also famous as mini Israel of India, Kasol boasts a diverse range of authentic Israeli cuisine in most of the cafes and restaurants on their menu.   • Kasol in summer (March - June) Summer is the best time to visit Kasol. You will see tourists from all over the world this time which makes it a bit crowded. May is the best month for Treks, overnight parties, or local festivals. The temperature in the summers does not fall below 15 degrees Celsius.
  • Kasol in monsoon (July - September)  Monsoon season is not an ideal time to visit Kasol. High chances of landslides and road blockages make it a bit of a risky trip. However, a Monsoon visit to kasol would be cheaper because of the off-season.
  • Kasol in winter (October - February) Winter season is chilly and is least recommended for a trip. Most roads leading to Kasol are blocked and inaccessible. However, October and November are pleasant and not too cold. The temperature in Kasol during January falls below zero degrees Celsius.
How to Reach Kasol
  • The closest airport to Kasol is Bhuntar Airport in Kullu, Regular flights connect the airport to Delhi. You can hire a cab for Kasol from Bhuntar airport which is about 31 km. The nearest airport to Kasol is located in Bhunter, which is around 31 kilometers away.
  • The nearest (Narrow gauge) railway station is Joginder Nagar railway station, about 144 km from the village of Kasol. Kasol does not have a railway station. You can hire a cab from the station to reach Kasol or Bus from the Joginder Nagar bus stand.
  • Kasol is accessible via an excellent road facility. The NH-3 is the main road leading to Kasol towards Manali. Delhi is a base for tourists coming from long distances to visit this place. You will also take a bus for Kasol from Kashmiri Gate ISBT in Delhi; mostly semi-sleeper Volvos are available. This journey takes approx 11 to 12 hours.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing to cancellations@planmypackage.com. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows :

  • Booking Amount is Non-Refundable
  • From 30 to 44 days prior to arrival: 50 % of the Total Trip Cost
  • From 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 75 % of the Total Trip Cost
  • From 0 to 14 Days prior to arrival or No Show : 100 % of the Total Trip Cost

Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).

In case of any adverse weather, natural calamity, local issues or Government orders, or any unforeseen circumstances happens during the Trip, Our Team would try at their level best to execute services as per itinerary but in case of it not happening, no refund would be processed. If in case, Trip couldn’t be started due to such unavoidable circumstances before starting of it, PlanMyPackage would issue a voucher for 100% of the amount which can be redeemed within 12 months from the voucher issuance date.
