Ranthambore National Park is placed approximately 13.5 kilometres from the city of Sawai Madhopur in the Rajasthan state. Popular for the tiger population and perfect destination to witness the magnificent harpies in the jungle living naturally. The park divided into 10 zones in which out of 1-5 zones are best for Tiger sighting. The park is the perfect wildlife reserves and best as a tiger familiar land. In north India, it is one of the largest national parks. This park was established as Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India but later in 1973, it was declared as one of the Project Tiger reserves in India. On 1st November in 1980, It is declared a national park. This place is an ultimate Paradise for wildlife enthusiastic. Some other popular places at Ranthambore are Ranthambore Fort, Surwal lake, Jogi Mahal, located near Padman Lake, well known for its excellent architecture and sculpture.
