Pollachi

Pollachi is a small town which is situated approximately 30 km from the district of Coimbatore. Pollachi is also known as Coconut City. Subramanya Temple is the most popular tourist spot in Pollachi. The Jaggery Market of Pollachi is the largest in Asia. There are several dams which attract a lot of tourists. Some of the famous dams are Nirar Dams, Azhiyar Dam, Meenkara Dam, Sholaiar dam etc. Pollachi also has some famous temples like Subramaniaswamy temple, Massani Amman Thirukoil Temple, Sowdeshwari Amman temple.
