Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake is also called Pangong Tso, it is situated at an elevation of 14,270 feet. It traces itself between the laps of India and China. This picturesque lake is salty and because of this feature, no aquatic life survives in the lake. The temperature range between -30°C to -10°C makes even this salty lake freeze with wide ice sheets.
