Pandharpur

Pandharpur is a small pilgrimage site in the district of Solapur in Maharashtra. It is situated on the bank of the river Chandrabhaga. Pandarpur is known for Shri Vitthal and Shrimati Rukmini Temples. This place is popularly called as Kashi of the South. Pandarpur is also considered the spiritual capital of Maharashtra. Some other attractions of Pandarpur are Kaikadi Maharaj Math and Tanpure Maharaj Math.
