Mussoorie, a small hill town located in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand in the lap of the Garhwal Himalayas. Mussoorie was loved by British Officials, hence British soldiers used to come and stay at the place. This beautiful hill station was established by Captain Young in 1825. This serene town is called Mansuri erstwhile but is now renowned as Mussoorie. In 1842 Mussoorie had 42 houses, five barracks, and a hotel. The tourists came from different places and started calling it ‘Queen of the Hill Stations.
