Manas Wildlife Sanctuary

Manas National Park also known as Manas Wildlife Sanctuary it is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site 1985, Manas National Park is situated in As sam. Later it became a Biosphere reserve in 1989.On the tender ramp in the hillock of the Himalayas, where wooded mountains give direction to the alluvial meadow and tropical forest, the Manas sanctuary is home to a great variety of wildlife that includes various endangered species, such as Indian rhinoceros, tiger, pygmy hog. Its beauty provides a range of critical and attainable habitat for rare and endangered species, its exceptional significance within the Indian subcontinents protected areas and one of the most important remaining natural areas in the region. Other tourist destination from the park includes Doars and Guwahati.
