Mahakaleshwar Temple is located in Ujjain on the banks of river Kshipra. The temple is also known as Dakshin Mukhi which means south facing in simple words. The temple has shivling which is one of the 12 Jyotirlings in India. The idol of Nagchandeshwar is also there on third floor of the temple.
