Kota is one of the leading city in the state of Rajasthan which is settled on the bank of the Chambal River. Kota is also the industrial capital of the state. Like other cities of the state, Kota also has numbers of Havelis, palaces, forts ad other tourist attractions. Some of the famous religious sites are Gurudwara Azamgarh Sahib, Godavari Dham, Garadia Mahadev Temple and the Mathuradheesh Mandir etc. Kota is also famous for Kota Sarees, The sarees are also called Kota Doria with Doria meaning “thread”.
