Karanprayag

Karanprayag is located in the Chamoli District in Uttarakhand, placed on the convergence of Alaknanda and Pindar river. Karanprayag has numerous sightseeing spot. Karanprayag is also part of the Panch Prayag and it is the base of Roopkund and the Bedni Bugyals and the approach to tha Pindari Glacier. Karanprayag temple is dedicated to the Lord Uma (Goddess Durga). In Karanprayag place to visit such as Nauti village, Karna temple, Uma Devi Temple. Karanprayag is a place where Karna (Mahabharata) was to have worshipped the Sun God.
