Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari town in the state of Tamil Nadu has colorful sea-shores as it is the place where the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea are merging here. The place is famous for Vivekanand Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue The district name is spelled as Kanyakumari in official records that are in tune with the spoken name of the district in the Tamil language. Kanyakumari district is bounded by Tirunelveli district and Palk Strait of Bengal in the East, the Arabian Sea in the Southwest, the Kerala state in the west, and the Southern end of Western Ghats in the Northeast.
