Hampi is famous for its remains of Hindu temples from the Hindu kingdom of Vijaynagar and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temples attract a large number of tourists to Hampi because of their art on the monuments, monolithic sculptures, and monument architecture. All the monuments were built on the Hindu style of architecture which represents the Great Vijaynagar Empire. The best time to visit Hampi Is from October to March as during that time tourists can enjoy the environment along with the beautiful landscape.
