Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National park founded in 1974 as a tiger reserve under the tiger project, it is located in Karnataka. Earlier the private hunting ground of the Maharaja of Mysore. It is the second-highest tiger population in India. Bandipur National Park shares its boundary with the other three National parks. The place is surrounded by lush greenery and vegetation. The Reserve also has an animals care centre. The natural waters sources in this reserve through Moyar, Nugu and Kabini rivers. Take wildlife safaris, elephant safari, bird watching tour and guided safaris which either on jeep or foot at this reserve. This reserve situated at the foothills of Nilgiris, and it also offers numerous adventure activities like camping, trekking and explores the well-preserved sandalwood trees.
