Ambaji is a popular pilgrimage site in Gujarat. It is located on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Ambaji is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and this temple is major Shakti Peeth of India. In the temple, Shree Visa Yantra is worshipped as the main deity. Because there is no image or statue of the goddess. During Purnima days a large number of devotees visit the temple. A Bhadarvi Poornima Mela is held on a large scale. The original seat of Ambaji mata is on the hilltop of Gabbar in the town. During Diwali, the whole Ambaji temple is lit up.
