Ajmer

Ajmer is a city 130 km away from Jaipur and approximately 15 km away from Pushkar. The place is a famous pilgrimage site of Muslims. Ajmer Sharif attracts various tourists, The famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah is surrounded by Ana Sagar Lake which makes it even beautiful. Ajmer also holds an important place in the Jain religion because of having Golden Jain Temple. There are many other historical sites that are less popular such as Adhai Din Ka Jhopada which was built as a Sanskrit College but later on Sultan Gori converted it into a mosque.
