Abhaneri

Abhaneri is a village in Rajasthan's Dausa district, located 95 kilometres from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Agra Road. The location is well-known because it is home to Chand Baori, a massive stepwell that is regarded as one of India's most beautiful step wells. The village of Abhaneri is thought to have been founded by Gurjar Pratihar king Samrat Mihir Bhoj. Harshat Mata Temple is a popular tourist destination that showcases India's impressive architectural splendour during the mediaeval period. Harshat Mata is the goddess of joy and happiness, and the temple is dedicated to her.
