Rajasthan, a state which is located in the northwestern part of India. Rajasthan shares the boundaries with Punjab and Haryana in Northern and Northeast, Gujarat in Southwest, and also shares the international boundary with Pakistan in Northwest. The capital city Jaipur is located in the East-central part of Rajasthan.

The Major features of Rajasthan are the destruction of the Indus Valley Civilisation, another most important destination of Rajasthan is the Dilwara Temples in Mount Abu, the Keoladeo National Park, the bird sanctuary in Bharatpur. Rajasthan is also famous for the National Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur the Ranthambore National Park is known for its large tiger population, In Alwar the Sariska Tiger Reserve and In Kota the Mukundra Hill Tiger Reserve popularly known as Darrah wildlife sanctuary.

Rajasthan is known for the Royalty that the reason state has various forts and it is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. “The Land Of Kings,” Rajasthan previously called Rajputana. The History of Rajasthan state is about 5000 years old and classified into three parts - Ancient (up to 1200 AD), Medieval (1201-1707) and Modern (1707-1947).

In the western part of Rajasthan, the land is dry and barren, this area includes the Thar Desert known as The Great Indian Desert and in the Southwestern part of Rajasthan, the land is wet, hilly, and fertile because of Aravalli Mountains. Bika​ner

Bikaner is also known as the desert state of Rajasthan. Bikaner is also famous for its Bikaner bhujia and for its sweets. Bikaner also has the biggest camel farm in Asia. You can visit Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, and Museum, Rampura Haveli and also go shopping, camel safari. You can also enjoy the Camel festival in the month of January and the Kapil muni fair in the month of Kartik (October-November) in  Bikaner. Mount Abu

Mount Abu is a very famous hill station in Rajasthan. Ajmer is famous for the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Adhai Din ka Jhonpda, Anasagar Lake, Soniji ki Nasiyan, Victoria Clock Tower, Anasagar Baradari and many more places to vist. The best to visit Ajmer is between October to February.

Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is also known as “The Golden City”. Jaisalmer is the most popular tourist attraction in Rajasthan. Jaisalmer is located near Pakistan which is just 100km from the main city. The main attraction of Jaisalmer city is Jaisalmer fort also known as Sonar Qila. Inside the Jaisalmer fort, there are many Houses, Shops, Cafes, Hotels, Temples, and Havelis. Places to visit in Jaisalmer is Nathmal Ji ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli, Mandir Palace, Jain temple, Gadisar Lake, Bada Bagh, Desert National Park, Kuldhara, Tanot Mata Temple, Longewala War Memorial, Jaisalmer War Museum, Akal wood fossil park, and many more attractions to visit in Jaisalmer. Pushkar

Pushkar is a city famous for its one and only Lord Brahma temple in the world, Pushkar Camel Fair, and world-famous Pushkar Holi. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Pushkar is also Know as the “Rose Garden of Rajasthan” and Pushkar Gulkand is world-famous. Places to visit in Pushkar are the very famous Pushkar lake, Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Varaha Temple, Savitri Temple, Ranhji Temple, Pap Mochini temple, Atmateshwar temple, Man Mahal, and many attractions to visit. Pushkar is situated 10Km from Ajmer and 145Km from the Capital city Jaipur.

Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh fort is one of the Six Hill Forts of Rajasthan under the UNESCO World Heritage site. The fort is extremely famous due to its great story that revolves around Rani Padmini, Raja Ratan Singh, and Ala-ud-din Khilji. Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh, Padmini Palace, Rana Kumbha Palace are some of the major attractions inside the Chittorgarh fort. Witness the beautiful light and sound show at the night and experience the history of Chittorgarh. The best time to visit Chittorgarh is from October to March. The distance from the capital city Jaipur to Chittorgarh is about approx 310km by road.

Neemrana Fort

Neemrana is famous for its glorious Neemrana Fort which is built in 1464 AD. This is the palace from where Maharaja Prithviraj Chauhan 3rd ruled. The famous attraction at Neemaran is - Neemrana fort which is converted into a heritage luxury hotel name Neemrana Fort-Palace. Neemrana is 120Km from the National capital of India Delhi and The distance of the capital city Jaipur to Neemrana is about approx 148km by road.

Ranthambore 

Ranthambore National Park is situated approximately 13.5Km from Sawai Madhopur in the Rajasthan state. Popular for the tiger population. The park is divided into 10 zones in which 1-5 zones are best for Tiger sightings. The park is the perfect wildlife reserve and best as a tiger familiar land. In north India, it is one of the largest national parks. This park was established as Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India but later in 1973, it was declared as one of the Project Tiger reserves in India. On 1st November in 1980, It is declared a national park. This place is an ultimate Paradise for wildlife enthusiastic. Some other popular places at Ranthambore are Ranthambore Fort, Surwal lake, Jogi Mahal, located near Padman Lake, well known for its excellent architecture and sculpture. The distance of the capital city Jaipur to Neemrana is about approx 190km by road.

Best Time to Visit Rajasthan

The Best Time to Visit Rajasthan is in the winter season. Generally, the temperature of Rajasthan is high in the day and low at night. In Summers, Rajasthan is very hot and dry So, the summer season is not a perfect time to visit Rajasthan temperature is very high it is very difficult to visit and explore destinations. Monsoon is much enjoyable weather than the summers. 

Rajasthan in Summers (March Mid, April, May, June): 24℃-48℃

Summer in Rajasthan is very hot and dry. The summer season is measured between March Mid and June and the temperature rises to 48℃. In the summer season visiting Rajasthan is not the perfect time. In this season there are very few travelers who tour Rajasthan. For budget travelers who face the heat and high temperature then the summer season is a good option in this season accommodations and other travel requirements are at a very low price. In summers places like Mt. Abu is a hill station in Aravalli Range in Rajasthan are much pleasant than the other places of Rajasthan. Mt. Abu situated at the Elevation of 1220 m from sea level. Those who want to travel to Rajasthan in summer then carry lots of sunscreens, Loose and light cotton clothes which protect from the sunburns if clothes are full-sleeved.

Rajasthan in Monsoon (July, August, September): 21℃-35℃

In Monsoon, Visiting Rajasthan is a good option. The temperature goes down and gets relief from heat waves and dust storms. Monsoon gives freshness to the State Rajasthan lush greenery everywhere, Peacocks are dancing, Lakes are filled with water and many changes are done during this season. Do’s and Don’ts in Rajasthan

Do’s

Wear a face mask, use hand sanitizer, do not touch anything with your nacked hands, and use surface disinfectant spray during the entire trip.
Do keep yourself hydrated throughout the Journey, in some regions of Rajasthan Temperature is very high so Drink water regularly, Lassi, Lemonade, Sugar cane juice, Coconut water, Glucon drink, and other things which keep your body hydrated.
Do exchange the money in authorized money exchangers and authorized banks.
Carry Googles, Caps, Sun protection cream, water bottles, and little snacks with us.
Hired only authorized and licensed guides for sightseeing those who carry a government-approved ID card with us.
Respect the local community and heritage of Rajasthan.
Remove your shoes while entering the religious place like Temple, Gurudwara, Mosque and wear full clothes and cover your head while entering especially in Temple and Gurudwara.

Do not click pictures and videography at strictly prohibited places like Historical Monuments, Religious Temple, Airports, and some parts of Railway Stations, Defence/Military areas, and sensitive parts of the International border.
