The weather is quite pleasant during the summer season. This is the peak season for Munsiyari. October and November are also considered the best times to visit Munsiyari, But snowfall in Munsiyari arrives in December.

Munsiyari in March: Maximum(13 degrees celsius), minimum(2 degrees celsius). You can observe the Rhododendrons and the attractive valleys in March. 

Munsiyari in Apri: Maximum(16 degrees celsius), minimum(5 degrees celsius). The whole area of forest is covered with and turns out to be red-colored rhododendron flowers along with the snowy Himalayas. Clear and visible Himalayas make Munsiyari a more attractive destination in Uttarakhand.

Munsiyari in May: Maximum(20 degrees celsius), minimum(8 degrees celsius). The weather is quite pleasant during the nights. Tourists can go trekking this month.

Munsiyari in June: Maximum(22 degrees celsius), minimum(11 degrees celsius). June is the last month of summer in Munsiyari. It is the most appropriate time to explore Munsiyari.

The monsoon of Munsiyari is measured between July to September. Munsiyari gets embellished with the beautiful shade of green in the monsoon months of June to September, it is not the preferable time to visit Munsiyari, owing to the frequent and unpredictable landslides that may bring misfortune to anyone. Most of the roads are not in good condition at this time and the roads that are not accessible and are slippery and dangerous. The average temperature remains between 20 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, Munsiayri experiences moderate to heavy rainfall during these months.

Munsiyari in July: The maximum temperature in July is 21-degree Celsius and the minimum temperature goes to 14 degrees celsius. You can experience rainfall most probably for 11 days in July. 

Munsiyari in August: The maximum temperature in August is 21 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature goes to 14-degree celsius. You can experience heavy rainfall most probably for 29 days in August.

Munsiyari in September: The maximum temperature in September is 21-degree Celsius and the minimum temperature goes to 12-degree celsius. It’s not an advisable month to travel to Munsiyari because of the landslides. You can experience rainfall for 25 days in September.

The maximum temperature during the winter season is 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature during the winter season is -12 degrees celsius. The most popular tourist spots explored by tourists are Thamari Kund, Maheshwari Kund, Nanda Devi Temple, and Darkot. It is the most preferable season to travel to Munsiyari for the Honeymooners and the families also. You can also experience snowfall in the last week of December.  The Winter season is also considered the time when different types of species of migratory birds land for some time.
