Lansdowne is a small town in Pauri Garhwal district Uttrakhand, India founded by the name of Lord Lansdowne in 1887 i.e the viceroy of India during the British period. It is situated on the Kotdwar Pauri Road with an elevation of 1780 m above sea level with an area of over 6.09 sq km. Summer in Lansdowne (March-June)

The temperature during summer is between 15℃ to 30℃ which is hot and humid. Summer is the best time to visit for adventure lovers along with clear blue sky and pleasant weather. Spotting species at Kalagarh Wildlife Sanctuary or Trekking at Tip n Top/ Hawagarh and boating at the Kho River can be performed here.

It is the main attraction of Lansdowne which is known as the pride of Garhwal rifles, located at the Parade Ground in Lansdowne. Lansdowne War memorial is for those tourists who love to soak in the history of the Indian Army. It is also known as Garhwal Rifles War Museum and the distance is 450m from Lansdowne market road.

Bhulla Lake
