History of Kasauli

The Kasauli Cantonment was constructed by the British Raj in 1850 as a pioneer hill station in Himachal Pradesh. The whole area of Kasauli cantonment is 688.0626-acre out of which the secular area is 43.5607-acre. The phenomenon of the town states that it came into continuation after Lord Hanuman allocated his feet here.
