Kinner Kalish is one of the most sacred as well as one of the main mythical adobes of Lord Shiva, based in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Greater Himalayas, Zanskar, and the Dhauladhar are the three main mountain ranges that compile the beauty of Kinnaur. Kinner Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash. The Kailash represents the home of Lord Shiva who resides on the top of these peaks. Shivalingam at the peak of Kinnar Kailash mountain changes its color during the course of the day and one can only experience it if the climate conditions are in your favor and the sky is absolutely clear. As the place is associated with Lord Shiva, Kinner Kailash is known to be a sacred place according to Hindu and Buddhist Mythology. All the Kailash in all over India and Nepal are unclimbable mountains peaks due to mythological reasons and are quite difficult to trek. The other Kailash mountains are The Kailash Manasarovar, Adi Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev, and Manimahesh Kailash. The height at which one can reach during the trek is about 4800m above sea level while trekking for about 14 km from Tangling village, which is the base camp of the Kinner Kailash trek.
