Dehradun is the Capital City of Uttrakhand, this place gives you a strong connection with Hindu tradition. The great king Ashoka ruled this city in the 1st century BC. Dehradun by Air

You can take a flight to Jolly Grant Airport to reach Dehradun city and the airport is approx 31km away only. Dehradun has its own airport that is Jolly Grant Airport connecting with several major cities of India. Direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities are available. Popular airlines such as Air India, SpiceJet, Indigo, Vistara, others operate here. 

Dehradun by Train 

Dehradun by rail is connected to most of the major parts of the country. Dehradun has its own railway station and is the last railhead of the Garhwal region. There are no direct trains available from  Mumbai to Dehradun.
