Sinquerim Beach

Sinquerim Beach is located near Aguada Fort and is about 37 Km from Dabolim International Airport whereas if you are coming from the train then the nearest railway station is Thivim which is about 18 Km away from the beach and the Capital city Panaji is 13 Km away. How to reach Sinquerim Beach.

Private cabs and bus services are available from Panaji which is merely 13Km away and you can reach here in about 25-30 minutes. You can also rent a bike or car to reach here. If you are coming from Betim - Verem - Saligao Road then it will take around 35-40 mins from NH 66.

Ashwem Beach 

Located in the proximity of Arambol Beach, Ashwem Beach is yet to be discovered by the mainstream tourist crowd of Goa and thus remains one of the few hidden gem beaches of Goa with very few crowds. It is one of the most ideal beaches to spend some private and peaceful time with your loved ones as this beach is comparatively lesser-known among the other beaches. This hidden pristine beach of pearl-white sand is complemented well by the mesmerizing waves of the Arabian Sea. The calm water of Ashwem Beach is very safe for swimming and people also practice yoga here for their peace of mind. Forming the northern tip of Ashwem, the long sandy shores start from the bank of the Chapora River. Coconut trees and Palm trees are very neatly punctuated at Ashwem Beach long coastline. How to reach Ashwem Beach

Ashwem beach is at a distance of 30Km from Panaji and about 54 Km from Goa International Airport. If you are coming from Panaji then you can take a bus from Kadamba Bus stand in Panaji or else taxi services are also available. If you are planning to come by train then Thivim Railway station is just 18Km away from Ashwem Beach.

Butterfly Beach 

Known for tranquillity and the serene calmness, the butterfly beach of South Goa is a relatively unexploited beach unlike any other beach of North Goa. Don’t just go by the name, here you can spot millions of butterflies flying on the hilltop blossom in reality. The warm blue water of the Arabian Sea against the golden sand creates a postcard effect location with butterflies and many palm trees.  Butterfly beach is the best part of South Goa and it is also known by the name of honeymoon beach. It is one of the secluded vacation spots for newly married couples. The butterfly-shaped island is only approachable by ferry from either Palolem beach or Agonda beach. You can also opt for a ship for a wide and punctuated experience. Spend some time with your family and friends to witness wandering redfish, goldfish, sea urchin, and sea cucumbers, but for that, you also have to wait for the low tide period. Butterfly beach has a thick forest on one side and leads to the open sea area on the other which makes it a unique landscape to picture it in a frame. How to reach Butterfly Beach

There is no direct ride to butterfly beach, you have to take a cab from Panaji to Palolem Beach which will take about 30-40 minutes. From Palolem Beach, there is a boat ride that will drop you at Butterfly Beach.

Best time to visit Butterfly Beach

November to March is the best time to visit this beach as the weather is pleasant and the boats from Palolem beach aren’t operating in the Monsoon season due to heavy rainfall. There is no point in visiting Butterfly Beach in the summer season as the temperature goes around 40℃.

Cola Beach

Cola Beach is yet another hidden gem of South Goa which is also known as Khola Beach located in the Canacona area peppered with volcanic boulders. Cola Beach is hidden with thick overgrown hills, rocky terrain as it is off the beaten path and this makes cola beach perfect for sunbathers. A small hill divides Cola Beach into North Cola Beach and South Cola Beach joined by a river in a middle known as Emerald Lagoon because of its unique green colour. The sunset here is magical, as the sun sets the landscape of the beach reflects the sun rays in a unique way. Cola Beach also has a very calm water where you can swim for hours and for this the best time to visit here is from October to March. There is no public transport that will lead you directly till here, if you are coming from a flight then hire a taxi since this place is 60 Km away and 12 Km away from Railway Station. As there is not much of the touristy to this beach you can come with your loved ones and spend some peaceful moments, but also remember that there are very few shacks at Cola Beach so most of the eating places are inside the resort.

Arambol Beach

Not everything in Goa is as easily available or even visible as it seems. Arambol Beach in North Goa is one of the most beautiful yet hidden beaches of Goa located at a distance of 50 Km from Panaji. Unlike other beaches of North Goa, Arambol beach has the timing to follow, it is open for all the age groups every day, but the public is allowed to enter after 5 AM in the morning and the beach closes at 11 PM at night.

Taking a cab or a taxi from Panaji is the easiest way to reach Arambol Beach. There are also direct buses available for Arambol Beach which are scheduled at every 30 minutes. The bus will drop you at Arambol bus stand, from there it's a walk of 1Km.

Colva Beach

Kakolem Beach

Kakolem Beach is the most secluded and truly natural beach of Goa, here you will find the least crowd of Goa and you can completely relax over here. It is well-advised to carry your food and drinks with yourself as you will not get any shacks for food or even any kind of accommodation. As the beaches are untouched by the heavy tourist crowd of Goa, you can spend some relaxation time here. The best way to reach here is via sea, you can rent a water engine transport and reach Kakolem without hiking any cliff. The beach opens at 6 AM in the morning and gets close at 10 PM at night.

From October to March, it is the best time of the season to visit the place as it has its own peculiar charm. You will find many Goans here relaxing and having fun with their loved ones. For more adventure, you can go boating as the sea is slightly rough here. To reach here you have to book a private taxi as there are no buses to this destination.
