The smallest state of India, Goa is located about 250miles (400km) from the South of Mumbai (Bombay) bounded by the state of Maharashtra on the North and Karnataka on the East and South along with the Arabian Sea to the West. The capital city of Goa, Panjim is the mainland district on the north-central coast. You will experience a different culture in North Goa like their nightlife and liveliness as compared to South Goa with their scenic drives and tranquillity. Goa being a part of the coastal country is also known as Konkan and covers an area of 3,702 km2 (1,429 sq mi) and It falls between the latitudes 14°53′54″ N and 15°40′00″ N and longitudes 73°40′33″ E and 74°20′13″ E. The post-monsoon period from October to January is the best time to visit Goa with beautiful weather and favorable climate conditions, also it is mostly loved by all the tourists visiting Goa.
