Your Itinerary

Kathmandu to Kala Pathar via Base Camp of Mount Everest (Flight time: 3-4 hours)

05:30 – 06:30 AM: Pick up from the hotel and drop down to the domestic terminal of the International Airport, Kathmandu.
- Your Mount Everest helicopter tour will commence from the International Airport of Kathmandu.
- Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and will be dropped at the airport’s domestic terminal.

06:30 – 07:00 AM: Preparation and processing will take place at your scheduled helicopter flight to EBC with a landing.
- You will be assisted by your guide with the check-in process and luggage. Please make sure you carry your passport and tickets with you.
- After checking in, your documents and ticket will be checked by an official officer of the airport, after that, you will be ready to fly to Lukla.

07:00 – 08:00 AM: Fly to Lukla (2,845 meters)
- Once you are done with airport formalities, you will proceed to fly Lukla. You will be welcomed by the mesmerizing vistas of green hills, and passing through Dolakha village you reach Jiri village.
- Your helicopter ride will continue over the Lamjura-La Pass (3,550 m) covered by thick rhododendron forests.
- After 45 minutes, you will be reaching Lukla with glorious views of the chains of the amazing Himalayas. Lukla lies at 2,820 meters above sea level. Lukla is famous for Lukla airport, which has a very small runway in the world.

08:00 – 08:15 AM: Flight Refuelling at Lukla Airport
- Once you land at Lukla, you will start observing the local Sherpa culture and their lifestyle. At the airport, you will notice as many Sherpa guides and porters waiting for their clients.
- It will take almost 10-15 minutes to get your flight refueled.

08:15 – 08:30 AM: Fly to Kala Patthar (5,450 meters)
- After refueling at Lukla airport, you will be flying towards Kala Pathar. The in-flight commentary will inform you about exactly where you have reached, whether it’s the Base Camp of the legendry Mount Everest or the astonishing Khumbu Glacier.
- In the second half of the flight, witness mesmerizing views of the mountains such as Mount Everest, Pumori, and Lhotse summit when flying over the Kala Patthar.

08:30 – 08:45 AM: Land at Kala Patthar and explore around. (5,450 meters)
- This helicopter tour is more than just a flight, where you can’t miss the mesmerizing landscapes. It will take around 3-4 hours of Everest Helicopter ride to land at Kala Patthar, where you will indulge in the view of the magical and majestic peaks of the Khumbu region of Nepal.
- 15 minutes on the ground may not sound to you like a lot, but it’s more than enough to find out amazing views of the scenic mountain beauty.

08:45 – 09:00 AM: Fly to Syangboche (Everest View Hotel) (3,950 meters)
- Throughout this mountain flight, a guide will accompany you who will inform you about all the information you need to know regarding the sites of bird’s eye view of the vibrant colors of sunrise merge into one.
- After enjoying the magical moments at Kala Patthar, you will fly towards the world’s highest situated hotel, Mount Everest View Hotel, for a healthy and hearty breakfast. The flight offers mesmerizing views of Khumbu Glacier, Gorak Shep, monasteries, Chortens, and snow-clad peaks of the Mount Everest region.

09:00 – 09:30 AM: Breakfast Time at Everest View Hotel
- Syangboche is well-known for Mount Everest View hotel from every corner. It is an ideal place to get a mesmerizing view of snow-capped peaks.
- You will have a heart-filling breakfast at Mount Everest view hotel with an amazing Everest view.

09:30 – 10:00 AM: Fly to Lukla and Refuel
- After having breakfast in the hotel, you will fly back to the Lukla with the electrifying views of the Himalayas. There is nothing more exciting than a clear bird’s eye view of the Himalayas up close.
- The flight will land at Lukla for 15 minutes for refueling and fly back to Kathmandu.

10:00 – 11:00 AM: Fly back to Kathmandu
- Before going back to Kathmandu, you will witness a full range of the Everest region landscapes and diversity as you look down on the Namche Bazaar, Lukla, and Phakding.
- After this exhilarating flight, you will be taken back to your hotel in your comfortable and private transport.
