Nalanda is the oldest University in India, which still has remains. The place is considered a pilgrimage site for the Jain and Buddhist religion. Nalanda is rich in historical heritage from having remains of Nalanda University to Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall, which has a Chinese style of architecture. There is also an archaeological museum that shows the culture of Nalanda University and the arts. Tourists can visit the Great Stupa built by Ashoka- The Great in the 3rd century.
